THE BIRTHPLACE OF JOAN OF ARC
The house where Joan of Arc was born was listed as a Historic Monument in 1840, when it was bought by the Vosges Department in 1818.

THE CHURCH
SAINT REMY
This 13th-century building is listed as a Historic Monument.
You will see a font dating from the time of Joan of Arc, as well as the baptismal font where she was baptised.
The interior and exterior were restored between 2005 and 2008.

THE BASILICA
SAINT JOAN OF ARC
Construction began in 1881. It was consecrated in 1926 and declared a Basilica by Cardinal Villeneuve in 1939.
The crypt is dedicated to ‘Notre Dame des Armées’.
On either side of the nave, large paintings depict the most important moments in the life of Joan of Arc.

THE MUST-SEE PLACES
GRAND LA GALLO-ROMAINE
The Grand amphitheatre, a place of entertainment and spectacle at the end of the 1st century, is a sumptuous ancient vestige. Its rich history and imposing architecture, 25 metres high at the time, are much appreciated by young and old alike.
The museum, located a stone's throw from the amphitheatre, houses an impressive 232m² mosaic.

NEUFCHÂTEAU


The town of Neufchâteau is a must-see on your trip to the west of the Vosges and boasts a remarkable architectural heritage, including the Place Jeanne d'Arc, the church of Saint-Christophe, the church of Saint-Nicolas, private mansions, the chapel of the Hôpital du Saint-Esprit, the former Scala theatre (an Italian-style theatre) and the Renaissance staircase.
LE FORT AUX ENIGMES
Immerse yourself in a captivating world at the heart of Bourlémont Fort, a 19thᵉ century fortification nestled in a green setting. Ludo opens the doors of Fort Aux Énigmes and invites you to explore the mysterious galleries and rooms of the fort, where various riddles await you. With friends or family, everyone will have to put their knowledge and skills to the test. Mother Nature is throwing down the gauntlet: will you rise to the challenge?
